During the Master’s program, we study the theoretical side of Business Intelligence & Data Analytics and translate it into your practice situation. After completing the program, you are fully aware of the theoretical framework behind Business Intelligence & Data Analytics. We will then start practically. As a starting point, we take the practical situations of you as a participant. This course is intended for professionals who work at the cutting edge of business and IT and in their (future) position are involved in BI projects or BI management. For example, the training will be especially suitable for (BI / IT) managers and advisors who have to deal with the drop-down and further rollout of BI in the organization and want more know-how in tactical and strategic areas. The program also provides valuable knowledge for business analysts, BI and data consultants and architects.
Purpose
This program aims to develop and implement a vision of BI in your own organization so that the right information is obtained from the large amounts of available data. To establish this, much attention will be paid to all key topics in the area of Business Intelligence & Data Analytics.

This module focuses on all relevant topics in the area of Business Intelligence and the organization. Which performance measures have the biggest impact on your organization’s strategy and objectives? Which people and processes have the greatest impact on achieving business goals? How can we better utilize the knowledge in the organization and develop new knowledge? The participants pay close attention to these themes.
The module will focus on the following learning objectives:

BI Operational: Roles & Processes, resources & Tools

In order to make effective BI solutions, multiple BI expertises are required, each contributing to BI cycle processes. BI roles & Processes are directly linked to BI resources & Tools available within an organization.

Business Intelligence teams often have multiple responsibilities, such as keeping BI environment available and controllable, participating in projects, BI analysis, and developing and implementing changes to the BI environment. Agile works helps to prioritize incidents and urgent questions they need, in addition to the time required for answering regular questions and implementing change requests.
The module will focus on the following learning objectives:
- The participant knows the basic principles underlying Agile's work;
- the participant knows the difference between Scrum, Kanban and Lean and knows which situations these methods can best be used;
